Counterstrike: Global Offensive, also known as CS:GO, is an extremely popular game, having sold over 25 million copies, which makes it the best selling game of all time. This game was officially published in 2012, but it took three years to gain major attention.

What is CS:GO?

Counterstrike is a five vs. five first-person shooter. There are two sides players can choose from: Counter-Terrorist (CT) and Terrorist (T). The T side has to plant bombs on sites, and there are two bomb sites on every map. If the bomb explodes, the T side wins. The goal of the CT side is to prevent that, either by defusing the bomb or by not letting the T side plant the bomb within the time limit.

The third way to win is by killing all the players on the other side. Players can buy weapons, armor, grenades, and some other useful items, but they cost in-game money. You can earn money from killing a player or when the round ends, and the winning side gets more money while the losing side gets less.

CS:GO also has lots of different game modes: there is Competitive, the classic 5v5 game mode, and Wingman, which is a duo version of the competitive game mode with a smaller map and only one bomb site.

Then there are the casual game modes: Casual and Deathmatch. The casual game mode has 15 players instead of 5 and players can’t buy armor and diffuse kits. Deathmatch makes players compete for the most points, and there are no T or CT goals; all you have to do is kill as many people as you can.

The market system of CS:GO

The game has a safe way of buying and trading items for real money, which is one of the reasons why people are willing to spend money and are not afraid of being scammed. In the game, there are a variety of skins for weapons and other accessories which can be found in cases.

The rarest items are the knives – their average spawn rate is 1 out of 400 cases. There is a rare chance that the item can be StatTrak. StatTrak is a piece of technology that tracks the number of times an action was taken. In the case of weapons, it is the number of kills.

Unboxing a StatTrak weapon is 10 times rarer than unboxing a regular weapon. The rarer the skin is the more money people will pay for it.

The original place for trading was the Steam Market. There are also authorized websites with cheaper deals for buying or trading.

There are skins and knives with an incredibly small drop rate. Skin collectors spend an insane amount of real money to buy them. People have spent over $10,000USD just to buy skins.

The most expensive skin ever sold was an M4A4 Howl; this gun was sold for $130,000USD in cash. This is also the only contraband gun in CS:GO. This gun had a wolf that looked similar to an artist’s artwork. The gun soon became contraband and stopped selling. The gun is now the only skin that is contraband.

CS:GO is a very popular game among the e-sport community, with a realistic play style and amazing game cosmetics.

CS:GO made a very big impact on people that like to invest or are very good at economics. With small YouTubers and talented people, they choose the right thing to invest and it may change their lives.

CS:GO has sold over 25 million copies. It is the most sold game. The play style looks so simple but there are thousands of strategies and places to throw utilities.

For people that just started playing this game, it looks like a normal First-Person Shooter (FPS). People that have high ranks see this as a strategy game.

This game is perfect for people that want to play an interesting game that uses your brain. While most FPSs are running and killing each other, this one is different. If people want to play games and make money, invest in CS:GO cosmetics.

This game is perfect for everyone.
