Sometimes, people think that boys play sports better than girls. They think girls don’t know how to play sports. People think that girls are bad at sports and make fun of their actions. However, it is definitely not true, and it is a really mean thing to do. There are many famous female athletes; here are four female athletes you need to know about.

Yani Tseng

Tseng is a Taiwanese professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. She is the youngest player (male or female) to win five major championships. She joined the Ladies Asian Golf Tour in 2007 too. She hasn’t performed so well these past few years, but since she won many gold medals in the past, she is called “The Light of Taiwan.”

Shu-Ching Hsu

Shu-Ching was born in Yunlin, Taiwan. She is a Taiwanese weightlifter. She is only 1.59 meters tall and weighs 53 kg. However, she can lift things that are about four times heavier than her weight, all the way over her head.
